Excursions

1) Pre-Primary Visit to ISKCON Temple

We at DPS Siddharth Vihar always strive to develop children holistically by fostering progress in values-based learning. The students of the pre-primary wing went on an excursion to ISCKON temple, Rajnagar Extension today.

This spiritual excursion allowed our young learners to immerse themselves in the divine atmosphere of the temple, deepening their understanding of Lord Krishna's teachings.

The little ones were overjoyed while dancing to the tunes of various Krishna Bhajans. They also chanted the mantra “Hare Krishna”.

This trip fostered a deep sense of respect, unity, and harmony, reinforcing the value of diverse religions in our world.

2) "Educational excursions provide students the joy of discovery and the opportunity to learn new things through travel.”

An educational excursion is the perfect platform for experiential learning that instils with the right sense of knowledge and experiences. It provides an opportunity for total immersion in the natural environment and social setting.

DPS, Siddharth Vihar organised an educational excursion to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya for the students of Grade VI - XII. The Sangrahalaya is established in the Teen Murti Estate, the serene abode of the first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for 16 years. It is a tribute to our great nation and covers national pride, integrity, and honour through capturing the lives of our honourable prime ministers and their contribution to our motherland.

The excited students visited this unique museum with their facilitators and were guided by the escorts, who briefed all on the lives of 15 prime ministers and their contributions to the making of modern India.

The highly knowledgeable excursion fulfilled the objectives of the National Educational Policy (NEP) too, as the students were able to integrate the knowledge of various subjects and were also sensitized towards maintaining the strong ideals of our great nation.

3) DPS Siddharth Vihar took learning to new heights with a fascinating visit to ISRO.

Over 32 brilliant minds from the school embarked on an incredible journey to explore the cutting-edge innovations and technologies at ISRO. From witnessing space exploration up close to understanding the intricate workings behind it, our students got a firsthand experience of the marvels of space science and technology.

It was an enriching experience that broadened horizons and ignited a passion for innovation and exploration among our future engineers. Kudos to all the students for their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn!
